So I have taken a little hiatus from my blog which I greatly regret. It's a little harder to go back in time after a few months have gone by. But, we have not been sitting and doing nothing this whole time! This blog post will recap our road trip in Germany. I will split it into a few posts cause we had such a great time and I really want to share!!!
Frankfurt, Germany
Our journey started with a 2 and a half hour leg to Frankfurt. Frankfurt was pretty much destroyed after WWII so there is not much that is original to the city. There is a small square rebuilt using original construction that was pretty to see. We started our trip on a Sunday so almost everything was closed except for the touristy stuff. Would love to go back for some shopping!
Frankfurt Children's Museum - This place was super small, but it was good to burn off some energy after being in the car for a while!

| After some lunch! Brat's and fries make everyone happy! |
After wandering around most of the day we made our way to our hotel (Hotel Hamburger Hof)
that was by the Frankfurt train station, which was awesome!!! The hotel was really nice and the room was a really good size. We decided to have dinner at the train station since there were so many options and cool things to look at. It was a nice day and a great way to start our trip!
