Beautiful Wurzburg

The next day we set off for Nuremburg and stopped in a small town on the way.  Needless to say this is one of my favorite places! Wurzburg was so beautiful! The day was spectacular and the kids loved running around. We ended up staying longer than planned but it was so worth it! Can't wait to go back!

The Residenz (Residenz Website) - What a cool place! We unfortunaly could not take pictures inside but it was pretty amazing. The gardens were so beautiful and well maintained it was nice to just sit outside on the wonderful fall day.

The Frankoniabrunnen - Fountain outside this amazing building!
Stunning!
The back of the Residenz from the far end of the garden

Bella's photography!
One of my fav's!
Would love to see this in the summer with all the leaves!
My little models!

Spatzel with cheese and fried onions (aka German mac and cheese) - I could have eaten this all day!
Must have beer at lunch!

St. Kilian Cathedral - So beautiful!!! This is the 4th largest romanesque church in Germany!

Loved these doors!

View of the Marienburg Fortress  from the other side of the river
